Name: Richard Grant
Location: Toronto, Canada
Member since 2nd Nov 2007.
I'm a self employed web and software developer originally from West Yorkshire, England, and now living in Toronto, Canada.
As the founder of QWeb, I designed and developed this site as a voluntary project between autumn 2007 and Spring 2008, for my parents, amateur photographers Mary and Ray Grant.
While primarily a web developer, I'm also interested in photography and use Picture Postbox for my own photographic portfolio.
I consider myself to be a nature photographer and sell most of my prints over at http://trickyric.etsy.com.
I currently use a Nikon D40 D-SLR with 18-200mm range lenses and an ND 0.6 filter. I'm not a fan of flash photography so most lighting is natural or enhanced with post processing.

-
Animals
We often visit the zoo and farms to keep the kids amused, and while visitors are here, so this album is likely to fill up fast.
-
Birds
The flying variety, that is.
-
Bugs and Insects
Various bugs and insects.
-
Fish
Tank lighting and colourful fish can make an interesting shot. I don't keep fish myself though, so these are rare.
-
Flowers
I don't take these kinds of shots often, but they do make good subjects.
-
Kate
I'm not a people photographer, in fact I generally hate shooting people or having my own photo taken, but my fiancee Kate is an exception :-).
-
Riddle
A special album created for the riddle game over at http://riddle.qwebbusiness.com. Ignore it if you're not playing the game :-).
-
Skies
You get a pretty good view from this apartment of the sunsets and storms.
-
Structures
Unusual structures that don't fit any regular category will end up in here.
